TIG welder is one of the most versatile welding machines which can determine even more heat, which allows for a smaller, precision weld. 

Other popular types of soldering machines used today is a MIG welder.

Arc welding

Industrial use Arc welding or stick welding in a number of applications including construction and repair. This type uses welding power supply with either direct current or alternating to create an electric arc between the electrode and the base material to melt metals at fuse point. 

There are two types of arc welder that includes air or oil cooled welder  AC or DC that uses the air conditioning system. Arc welding is limited to ferrous metal solder.

MIG welding

MIG or metal inert gas soldering process arc welding is a semi-automatic or automatic, also known as gas metal arc welding (GMAW). This process has a wire electrode and a shielding gas continuously and consumption is fed through the torch MIG or fuse CO2 pistol. 

A MIG welder is used without shielding gas in a process known as flux core arc welding. In this process the welding wire has a core filled with flux and has a hotter arc weldability thick pieces of metal.

TIG Welding

TIG soldering or tungsten inert gas soldering is a process involving the non-consumption of tungsten electrodes that provides current to arc welding. Argon gas is commonly used as a shielding gas to protect the weld area from contamination.

 A TIG welder is usually used to weld thin sections of aluminum, magnesium, copper, and stainless steel. One of the biggest advantages of TIG welders on MIG welders is that operators have extensive control over the weld.
