When you have a space issue, a bunk bed is a perfect way to go. However, there are also some dangers associated with bunk beds. Here are some basic safety tips that can help you avoid injuries:

1. You should not allow a child who is under 6 years to sleep on the top bunk. We know that now most 6-year-old kids have good climbing skills but they do not understand the safety concerns. They need some more years to understand the use of safety and caution. however; they may need a few more years to understand the use of caution and safety.

2. Do not jump from the top bunk, always use the ladder for going up and down. Nowadays many bunk beds are made with a slat on the side to make it look more fun and amazing but it is not recommended to use it while going up and down. 

3. It is not advised to jump on the bunk beds. People think that it is ok to jump on the bottom bunk but keep in mind that it will weaken the structure of the beds and can also cause serious head injuries.
