SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR (SOCIAL MEDIA WIZ)

THE ROLE

This role is fundamental to our artists and the success of ESAF. Last year we built and interacted with our audience mainly through our social media channels. Our reach was wide and we continue to build on the moment of last year’s success with a new marketing plan. In a festival saturated Edinburgh market, we aim to stand our with creative, fun and punchy social media content.

The ESAF Founder and our Digital Media & Marketing Coordinator will directly manage this role. This role will also be crucial to the success of ESAF. Our ideal candidate will be a risk-taker, creative, and understand how to engage a wide range of audience members that are mostly creatives. 

 

We are looking for a team player and a candidate enthusiastic about working with our creative partners to provide a great platform for student artists across Edinburgh.

You will be in charge of your developing our social media platforms, creating content and eventually supporting a team of student volunteers on the ESAF committee, once the next academic year begins. See yourself as more of a mentor and guide. Throughout the year, we expect this role to maintain our social media presence, build our online engagement, and solidify our brand while you have fun creating your own voice within our online content


sponsorship COORDINATOR (SPONSORSHIP GENIUS)

THE ROLE

You will be responsible for researching and developing key stakeholder relationships, seeking funding support, and generating future revenue for the sustainability of ESAF.

This role is crucial to the success of ESAF. As an externally-funded organisation, we seek to be financially self-sustaining in a festival-saturated Edinburgh market. Our ideal candidate is creative, friendly and proactive in their approach to sponsorship.

You will potentially be in charge of building your own team and manage  the volunteer sponsorship team as part of the ESAF committee once the following academic year begins.

See yourself as a mentor and guide. Throughout the year, we expect this role to maintain relationships with sponsors, patrons and key stakeholders, be active and responsive, and bring fresh insights to how ESAF can increase revenue effectively.


finance officer (FINANCE GENIE)

THE ROLE

This role is fundamental to the operation of ESAF. The Finance Administrator will be responsible for keeping ESAF’s finances up to date and reporting to the board if any irregularities or concerns are raised.

They will be responsible for the week to week upkeep of all ESAF financial documentation.

This role will also be crucial to the success of ESAF, as an externally-funded organisation we must be transparent and accountable to our funders.

 

As a festival we have bursts in the annual calendar when the majority of the funding is spent, the Finance Administrator will be responsible for keeping that under control and well documented. Our ideal candidate will be precise with a keen eye for detail and a self-starting attitude towards financial procedures. 

This will give the candidate an opportunity to help ESAF’s transition into an independent legal body by helping us develop and implement financial procedure for every department of our festival team.
