22-26 September 2016

ESAF BEST VISUAL ARTIST 2016 EXHIBITION

We are pleased to welcome back ESAF Best Visual Artist 2016 winner, Claire Pearce, with a brand new exhibition, 'Gobble, Gobble, Gobble: A Massacre of Lust', from 22-26 September 2016 at Trinity Apse. Be sure to not miss this one!

'Indulging in a gluttonous feast of sexuality the space between the grotesque and the beautiful is confused. A deliberate naivety sets the tone of the exhibition, reminiscing of a state of innocence which is no longer achievable. The artworks on show have an inherent absurdity to them, derivative from an expansion of metaphors, which in turn address the implications of the physicality of gender.'
